About the Journal
JSP publishes articles on certain topics in social and political studies; The main aim of JSP is to disseminate articles from researchers and discuss various contemporary social and political issues: communication, sociology, politics, gender, cyber media, movements in community groups, media studies, information & literacy, politics, governance & democracy, radicalism and terrorism, public welfare, social development, public administration and management, public policy, politics & international security.

Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by appointed Editor on prequalification process to decide the suitability with JSP criteria. Manuscripts could be rejected, returned to authors to be corrected, or reviewed by one assigned reviewers. All review processes are conducted in double-blind review. Author(s) must revise the manuscripts as suggested by reviewers and editorial board. The revised manuscript will be reviewed by Editor assigned by Chief Editor. The editorial board will judge the final evaluation on the suitability of manuscript(s) for publication.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Screening Plagiarism
Plagiarism screening will be conducted by Jurnal Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politika Editorial Board using Turnitin.
